1. What WeatherEdge is
WeatherEdge provides weather-market analytics for Polymarket weather markets. The service compares forecasts, station observations, market-implied probabilities, and subscription status so users can inspect market context.
Privacy contact: [email protected].
2. Data we collect
- Telegram account data: Telegram user ID, username, display name, and login/session status needed to sign you in and keep your account active.
- Subscription and payment data: Subscription status, invoice IDs, invoice state, amount, currency, provider metadata, and access dates.
- Security and operations data: IP address, user agent, request timestamps, server logs, Cloudflare security telemetry, and error logs.
- Optional first-party product analytics: With consent, WeatherEdge records page views, Analytics workspace interactions, login and billing funnel events, and coarse scroll or time-on-page thresholds so we can understand the user journey and improve the product.
- Analytics product data: Weather forecasts, station observations, market prices, model outputs, and app audit events.
3. Why we use the data
- Authenticate users through Telegram QR/passwordless login.
- Maintain paid access and subscription status.
- Process crypto checkout events from the payment provider.
- Protect the service from abuse, fraud, operational failures, and security incidents.
- Improve forecast, market, and station analytics quality.
- Measure optional first-party product analytics and conversion funnels when a visitor accepts analytics cookies.
- Comply with legal, accounting, and dispute-handling obligations where applicable.
4. Processors and third parties
WeatherEdge uses third-party services where needed to deliver the product: Telegram for login and bot confirmation, a payment processor for hosted crypto checkout (currently NOWPayments), Cloudflare for DNS/proxy/security, hosting providers for application infrastructure, and weather/market data providers for analytics inputs.
WeatherEdge does not sell personal data and does not use advertising profiles or retargeting pixels.
5. Retention and deletion
Account and subscription records are kept while needed to provide access, handle billing, investigate security issues, and satisfy legal or accounting requirements. Product analytics event detail is kept for up to 180 days by default. Operational logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security, reliability, and debugging.
The optional first-party product analytics system does not use third-party advertising identifiers.
You can request account deletion or correction by contacting [email protected].
